Obligation

“I was just that, an obligation.”

Obligation

Shana: I was born into a family and not wanted. They raised me out of obligation, but I was just that, an obligation.

People came into my life very early on and took me to church as a toddler.  Then, I had friends whose parents held church services in their home. We moved to a new town, and my new friends took me to church.

I prayed for my family for a long time and when I was in the 6th grade, they all gave their lives to Christ. They have all walked away from Christ now, even my own children.  I pray still pray for them.

Now, I’m fifty years old and I still hold on to God’s promises, and I look forward to home with our Savior.

“I prayed for my family for a long time…”
