Nearly two out of five enlisted service members face some level of food insecurity and live paycheck to paycheck—a reality made harder by the shutdown. For many, this means empty shelves and hungry nights just as the holidays approach

Mercy Chefs is a faith-based, non-profit disaster and humanitarian relief organization. They exist to provide professionally prepared, restaurant-quality meals to victims, volunteers, and first responders in natural disasters and emergencies, and they partner with existing like-minded organizations to further their mission by providing food service in underserved communities across the country and around the globe.
