I Have Work to Do

Diane: On April 2, 2024, I awoke at 5am, on the floor in terrible pain. I could not get up.  It felt as if my hip was broken. I laid there for 12 hours until my family came home. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Tests showed that nothing was broken. However, the muscles in my leg were all torn. They also discovered that my kidneys had stopped functioning. Also, my potassium was dangerously high and causing an erratic heartbeat.

The doctors asked me if I wanted CPR if my heart stopped. But I refused three times. Each time I refused, I closed my eyes and prayed God’s will over my life. I was filled with peace that truly is beyond understanding.

The doctors have no explanation for me surviving that night. Six days after my fall, I returned home. My kidney function’s higher than it had been in the past three years.

I know God spared me. I have work to do for His kingdom!

“I know God spared me.”
