Moving Mountains

"You were given this mountain to show others it can be moved."

Moving Mountains

Kristie: I was diagnosed with a brain tumor in my optical nerve a little over a year ago. I am legally blind in that eye. I went through six weeks of radiation in order to stun the DNA of the tumor to make sure it does not grow any more. I am a wife, a mom of three amazing kids and a teacher of special needs students. That tumor does not define me. I can still do all the things I am meant to do. Fast forward 7 months and I was diagnosed with breast cancer (early stage, but still). Another mountain. I have had my faith tested but I have shown others that through the worst of trials, God is with me. I feel my purpose is to be a witness to others, to show them that God is bigger than my mountains and valleys.

“That tumor does not define me. I can still do all the things I am meant to do.”
