Never Too Old

Never Too Old

My name is Cathy. I’m a wife of 41 years, a mom of 3 (because we consider our daughter’s husband one of our kids), and a grandmother of 4 (so far). I spent my whole life trying to figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up. I wanted to be a lawyer, but life didn’t allow it. Now I know it was God’s plan. I love words. I adore a clever turn of a phrase. I love reading and writing. An empty page excites me. Writing poetry soothes me. At the young age of 55, I started a blog- sharing my thoughts, life and faith. I keep watching in wonder as my readership grows and grows, totally by God’s grace, into countries where I have never been and to people I’ve never met. I’m now almost 63, and starting to write my first book. It’s scary and exciting at the same time. So what’s my God moment? It was when I discovered (much to my absolute astonishment) that we’re never too old to dream, or to be used by God to change the lives of people for the better- even people we don’t know.
