I’m Not Done With You Yet

Marcie: My mom passed in 2016. She was my best friend. I did not know how to be me without her. A few days after her funeral, I went to her grave with all plans to end it. I sat in my car, wrote letters to all my kids, and was about to swallow a bottle of pills. I felt a hand touch my shoulder and a voice said (almost as if someone was in my back seat) “I’m not done with you yet.”

I started bawling. I turned on the radio and I have never heard of K-Love before and have no idea how my radio got on it, but your song “Save a Place for Me” came on and I lost it. I wrote a letter to my mom and put her letter and the ones to my boys in her urn and sat there for hours before I went home.

“I’m not done with you yet.”
