Helen: Hello My Name Is…. All the names we are given like Regret and Defeat- voices and lies we believe. But I’m a child of the one true king because I am saved, changed and set free. Knowing that is a life changer. I got baptized last Easter. On the way to church that day it seemed like nothing was going right. I got stuck by a train and was running late. It seemed that the devil was doing all in his power to keep me from getting there. When I arrived I told my friend and she prayed with me and we told the devil “not today”.
I got baptized because I wanted to give my life to Jesus. Your songs are inspiring and have helped me through everyday and all the seasons I have faced. Knowing I have a God who stays with me even if no one else does and that certain things don’t label me. I just got done reading your “Hello My Name Is” book and it was amazing. Looking forward to seeing you in concert in April again. Wish I would have gone to the meet and greet again so I could tell you in person what your new song means to me- to never give up on hope.
